Delicious Fried Rice with Shrimp and Chicken recipe

Ingredients:
3 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old rice)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, chopped
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for protein
Instructions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beaten eggs and scramble until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
Stir in the cooked rice, breaking up any clumps.
Add the soy sauce, green onions, and cooked eggs to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
If using additional protein like chicken, shrimp, or tofu, add it now and stir until heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade fried rice!

Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 pound wild caught shrimp
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Season the chicken breasts and shrimp with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and paprika to make a marinade.
Brush the marinade onto both sides of the chicken breasts and smother the shrimp..
Place the chicken breasts and steaks on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
While the chicken and shrimp are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Once the chicken and shrimp are done cooking, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
Slice the chicken breasts into strips.
Drizzle the melted butter over the sliced chicken and shrimp
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
